There's always a starting Yland and the rest has 3 different tiers. I'm willing to listen to suggestions but this is really disappointing.Įvery time you create a new map, a random map of up to 7 Ylands is generated. from dismantling a tower and a flying cube. I dismantled the sphere once I had my barrier in place and got over 1,200 ingots from it. A tower that I chose to live in and one that had a sphere on top. on my second island there was a couple of structures. In my second game, I gave myself an iron ingot and a demolition hammer. Not being able to progress is very frustrating. I dig on the surface and I even dug a tunnel through the mountain on the starting island. I've only tried on the first ylands since the tech tree is gated behind finding iron.
I gave myself iron ingots with an editor save but no matter where I dig, I don't get any iron. No iron, copper or anything else, just dirt, sand, rock, clay, stone, sandstone and rocks. In that time, I have not once gotten a single ore. in that time, I've mostly concentrated on a pair of Exploration games. I have been playing this game for 48 hours now.
